Escape Recruitment has a new opportunity available to join a leading FM provider based in Edinburgh who is recruiting for a Multiskilled FM Maintenance Engineer to join their busy mobile team.

Your role will be mobile, covering various sites within the Edinburgh area.
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance of the building fabric for all associated commercial buildings.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for carrying out all associated PPM and reactive maintenance.
• This could include electrical work on mechanical building service systems.
• Commercial heating and ventilating pipework systems.
• Service and maintain commercial heating and ventilating systems.
• Service and maintain air conditioning and heat pump systems.
• If not already qualified within Commercial Gas you will be given the opportunity to upskill within Commercial Gas.
• Happy to provide support to other trades within the mobile team as needed.
• Assist with all PPMs and reactive maintenance within set time frames so that the client's expectations are met.
• Ensure you always take a proactive approach when dealing with the client and ensure that any remedial/ issues are dealt with or escalated to senior management if necessary.
• Working within Health & Safety legislation at all times.
  
  

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• SVQ Level 3 Service Maintain and Commission Building Engineering Services or equivalent.
• If you hold Commercial gas tickets would be advantageous – however not essential.
• Experience of carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• You will ideally have existing experience within a busy, FM environment.
• Full driving UK licence (6 points maximum).
• Happy to complete Disclosure Scotland.
  
  

Salary:

• From £32,000 – £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications held.
• Mobile/ PDA system.
• Uniform.
• Overtime.
• Holidays 32 days.
• Pension.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
